Steel

A tough, technical, timeless, particularly versatile material that gives the kitchen personality and style combined with outstanding convenience. Ernestomeda uses a STAINLESS steel with excellent strength, reliability and hygiene characteristics. An ideal choice for anyone seeking professional performances.

Stoneware

A ceramic material with a compact, hard body and a very tough surface. Its production process, choice quality raw materials and high firing temperatures make this material particularly resistant. The difference in slab colour is an intrinsic characteristic of the raw material, the source of its beauty and prestige.

Iconcrete

An exclusive material with the tactile look and feel of concrete. Intended for worktops, it provides continuity and style and is ideal for elegant, minimalist design schemes. Made from composite panels consisting of raw materials with excellent resistance to chemical and mechanical strength, coloured with pigments, it is suitable for use with foods and resistant to abrasion, chemicals, liquid absorption and heat.

Marbles & Granites

Two exquisite natural materials that add beauty to the kitchen without detracting from its practicality. Marble is a crystalline calcareous rock of sedimentary origin, consisting mainly of calcium carbonate. Granite is of volcanic origin; its structure is porous, yet compact. The appearance of both these materials may vary over time: signs of ageing simply make them more unique and prestigious.

Stone+

An exclusive Ernestomeda ceramic material ideal for the finishes of kitchen units. Its hard, coloured, non-porous body provides a hygienic surface, perfectly suitable for contact with foods. Stone+ is made from a careful selection of the purest raw materials, which are then blended and compacted, following by firing in a kiln at a temperature over 1200°.

Metallix

A special finish, exclusive to Ernestomeda, developed for colouring metal surfaces such as aluminium, steel and zamak. The metal is pre-treated in phases involving brushing of surfaces followed by oxidation, to stabilise the material and prepare it for the final colouring, performed using an innovative coating process.

Biomalta

An innovative, refined material with excellent functional performances, achieved through technological research and in-depth experimentation. It is an acrylic resin which can be applied to surfaces such as wood, marble, stone, glass, aluminium, stainless steel, etc. It is applied manually.

Corian

Matt, warm material with a satiny feel. Naturally white and uniform: hard as stone but workable as wood. Corian® is a state-of-the-art composite material consisting of natural minerals and acrylic polymers. It is extremely pure, tough, hygienic, hypoallergenic, water-repellent, repairable and non-toxic. On installation, it has a satiny, glossy appearance; the shine tends to become softer with use. (For doors it's only available on the Icon collection)

Fenix

An extremely matt high-tech material that creates a very elegant effect. Its low reflectance of the light, its extremely matt, anti-fingerprint surface and its very soft 'feel' are its main characteristics. An easy-clean surface with good resistance to scuffing and scratching thanks to its ability to regenerate.

Deluxe Woods

Wood derives is timeless beauty from its very nature. It is a material that continues to evolve even after processing, responding to temperature, humidity, light and warmth. Every atmospheric change is recorded in the surface of the wood in an irregularity that simply adds to its beauty. Vintage Oak and Quercus Oak originate from reclaimed materials. From old, unused railway sleepers (which have not been treated with harmful products), which with their time-worn look and design potential are now becoming sought-after raw materials for joiners.

Lacquered

Able to add luminosity to an interior, lacquered finishes are produced by coating the kitchen element; more delicate than other materials, this finish is only applied on doors and panels. Ernestomeda uses only the best coatings for its kitchens and all coating phases are performed by hand.

Veneer

Veneered tops are constructed from panels, covered with a sliced sheet of wood. Since this is a natural product, its appearance may vary; signs of ageing simply make it more unique and prestigious.
