All the components of our kitchens are made from panels that comply with Class E1/2 (also known as E0.5) of the European standard EN 717-1. This standard sets a more stringent emission limit: Class E1/2 (E0.5) is in line with the formaldehyde emission limit for furniture established by Regulation (EU) 2023/1464 (0.062 mg/m³), which will take effect in August 2026. Our materials also comply with TSCA Title VI and CARB Phase 2 regulations, which are required for sale in the U.S. market, as well as with the LEED IEQ Credit 4.5 requirement for low-emitting materials for interiors (Commercial Interiors—Low-Emitting Materials—Furniture and Seating), which is part of the U.S. Green Building Council’s LEED (Leadership in Energy and Environmental Design) building rating system.

To keep your living spaces healthy, we recommend always ventilating the rooms, maintaining humidity levels between 40% and 60%, and using plants that help neutralize pollution, such as the Boston fern, areca palm, ficus, peace lily, aloe, and dracaena.
