The new Ernestomeda flagship store, in the vibrant heart of the South Korean capital, display the brand's kitchens in an area of 200 square metres.
The new Ernestomeda flagship store in South Korea has been officially opened: the brand's kitchen models will now be the stars of an elegant space of about 200 square metres in the prestigious Gangnam district of Seoul. One of the city's most famous quarters, Gangnam runs along the southern side of the river Han and in the last few decades it has become one of the South Korean capital's richest, most important districts.
Featuring a skilful alternation of solid-fronted and open units, and inspired by the simple lines of the counters in fine-food catering kitchens, K-Lab is a kitchen project with a refined style but a high-tech soul, able to meet all technical demands without sacrificing immaculate design values. Located at the entrance to the store, the K-Lab composition chosen to welcome visitors is in Paloma Grey Zero Gloss lacquered finish and Nordic Oak, with Sky Grey marble worktops and steel Dual hob, framed by Mocha Zero Gloss lacquered tall units.
Pride of place, however, goes to Soul+, the direct offspring of the Soul model, enriched over time with new elements and materials, and offering a successful mix of contemporary design trends with clearly vintage features. The composition displayed in the new store is characterised by the Silt Flat Matt lacquered peninsula and includes Sahara Brown marble worktops, All-in-One wall units, Palladium Metal Effect lacquered tall units and Caramel Elm veneered wooden elements.
Visitors then come to Icon, the iconic Ernestomeda model, which marked the start of the company's partnership with Giuseppe Bavuso, now its art director, and which has undergone a large number of updates over time. In Seoul, the Icon composition on display features wall-mounted base units and tall units in Heat Treated Oak veneer, enhanced by the satined steel worktop and the Flex wall unit in clear grey glass.
Obliqua has always combined simple forms, a craftsman-like attention to details and innovative patterns and materials, such as Fenix. The new flagship store displays a composition with Kos White Fenix tall units, framing the Bromo Grey Fenix island.
The visit concludes with the One model, in which an aesthetic of elegant severity combines with a variety of functional and operating solutions. In the composition displayed in the showroom, One features base and tall units in London Grey Fenix, All-In-One wall units in Ingo Black Fenix and snack-top in heat-treated Oak.
But there is even more: the flagship store also contains a large working area, with meeting room and materials library, of about 35 square metres.
