We are continuing to work towards environmental sustainability and the use of renewable energy. With the introduction of our new solar power generation system we are enabling the sun to make us self-sufficient in energy! The fibre cement roof of the Ernestomeda factory building (16,000 square metres in area) has been replaced with German-made Q.Cells photovoltaic panels: a solar power generation plant with capacity 1.2 MWP.

The electricity produced by transforming the energy in sunlight allows us to generate 1,360,000 KWH per year, avoiding the emission of about 722.160 kg of carbon dioxide, the quantity absorbed by 93,800 trees.
